Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of battlestation.build ("the Site"), operated by MGC Marcin Gdowski, based in Poland (EU). Contact: contact@battlestation.gg.
The Site is a free tool that helps you select compatible PC components, track your battlestation build history, and connect with a community of builders. It is provided free of charge and funded through affiliate partnerships.
By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Who Can Use the Site
The Site is available to users aged 16 or older. If you are under 16, please do not use the Site. We do not knowingly collect personal data from users under 16 — consistent with our Privacy Policy.
2. What the Site Does and Its Limitations
The Site provides compatibility guidance and price information for PC components, battlestation build tracking, and community features. Please be aware of the following limitations:
- Compatibility checks are based on published technical specifications and may not catch every possible issue (e.g. physical cooler clearance, QVL RAM compatibility, non-standard case fitment). Always verify critical dimensions with the manufacturer before purchasing.
- Prices shown are sourced from third-party retailers and may not reflect the current price at the time you view them. Always confirm the price on the retailer's website before purchasing.
- We do not sell products. We link to third-party retailers. All purchases are made directly with those retailers under their own terms and conditions.
We make reasonable efforts to keep data accurate, but the Site is provided free of charge and we cannot guarantee that all information is error-free at all times.

3. Affiliate Links
The Site participates in affiliate programmes with hardware retailers (including Amazon Associates and others). We may earn a small commission if you click a product link and make a qualifying purchase. This does not affect compatibility results, product rankings, or prices shown — our compatibility algorithm has no knowledge of or connection to affiliate relationships.

4. User Accounts
If you create an account:
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.
- You must provide accurate information when registering.
- You may delete your account at any time from your profile page under Account Settings. On deletion, your personal data will be anonymised and removed in line with our Privacy Policy.
- One account per person. You may not create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.
5. User-Generated Content
If you submit builds, battlestations, comments, or other content to the Site:
- You retain ownership of your content.
- You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and share your content on the Site for the purpose of operating the service.
- You must not submit content that infringes third-party rights, is unlawful, or constitutes harassment, hate speech, or spam.
- We may remove content that violates these Terms, with notice where reasonably practicable.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically download the Site's data without our written permission.
- Attempt to bypass, probe, or interfere with the Site's technical systems or security measures.
- Use the Site to distribute spam, malware, or unlawful content.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
- Use the Site for commercial purposes (e.g. reselling build recommendations or data) without our prior written permission.
7. Intellectual Property
The Site's design, code, database, and original content are owned by MGC Marcin Gdowski and protected by copyright. You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute Site content without our permission.
Third-party product names, trademarks, and images belong to their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.
8. Our Liability
We provide the Site as a free informational tool. To the extent permitted by Polish and EU law:
- We are not liable for losses arising from your reliance on compatibility data or prices shown on the Site, provided we have made reasonable efforts to maintain accuracy.
- We are not liable for the content, pricing, availability, or practices of third-party retailers you visit via links on the Site.
- We are not liable for any loss of data, loss of profits, or indirect damages.
We do not exclude liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable EU or Polish law.
9. Third-Party Links
The Site contains links to third-party websites (retailers, manufacturers). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of those websites. Visiting them is at your own discretion and subject to their own terms.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The Last Updated date at the top of this page shows when changes were last made.
For material changes (changes that affect your rights or how the service works) we will:
- Notify registered users by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
- Display a prominent notice on the Site for the same period.
If you do not agree with a material change, you may close your account and stop using the Site before it takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account in the following circumstances:
- With 14 days' notice: if we are closing the Site or discontinuing a feature that requires account access.
- Immediately and without notice: if you seriously breach these Terms (e.g. scraping, distributing malware, sustained abusive behaviour). We will inform you of the reason unless doing so would compromise security or an ongoing investigation.
On termination you may request an export of your personal data before your account is deleted, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Appeals: If your account is suspended or terminated, you may appeal by contacting contact@battlestation.gg within 30 days of the action. We will review your appeal and respond within 14 business days.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the law of Poland. Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Polish courts.
If you are an EU consumer, you also retain the right to bring proceedings before the courts of the EU member state where you are habitually resident, and to benefit from any mandatory consumer protection rules that apply in your country of residence.

13. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, power outages, internet infrastructure failures, government actions, regulatory changes, pandemics, or acts of war.
